Whether they kicking her legs, squirming during a diaper change, they always exercise her little muscles. And all that strength building is essential to their motor development.

 

She needs strong muscles to sit up, crawl, eventually walk and holding up her head. In addition, physical activity pays off in the form of less fussiness, restful sleep.

4 Exercise that Helps Baby to Get Stronger –

 

1. Tummy Time :

 

Your infant spends their most of the time on his back.  In this turning him over onto his stomach greatly helps to build the muscles in his stomach, shoulders, arms, neck, and beck. Daily supervised tummy time can begin early as his first day home from the hospital.

You can place your baby tummy down on a blanket and get down on your own stomach to keep him giving the own company. A smile makes some funny faces or putting a toy within his grasp.

Engaging your baby makes him look around, reach, kick which helps to build the muscles that will need to roll over, sit-ups and eventually crawl. At starting, they may fuss during tummy time but with stronger muscles and great practice, they should begin to enjoy it.

 

2. Sit Up :

 

Pulling your baby into a sitting position is another better way to the stronger muscles in their arms, core, back, shoulders etc. Even though, when you are doing the pulling, your baby will naturally abdominal muscles and continuous work to keep their head in the alignment with her body. It will help to strengthen the muscles and building a great balance.  When your baby is on her back, you simply grasp her forearms and gently pulling towards you.

 

You can start doing sit-ups exercises around the 6 weeks of his birth. If she is too young their head then places your arms behind her shoulders with your hands and keep it from the flopping back. At first, you may only be able to pull your baby up to one inch. When they get older, they advancing into a full sitting position. This exercise is fun for your baby when they getting closure to your face. You can make it more entertaining by giving her a kiss at the top of each sit-up.

 

3. Bicycling

 

Cycle your baby legs helps to increase the flexibility of the baby body. It is a good way to work with the knees, abs, hips, legs etc. Cycle your baby’s legs also help to relieve gas. It is a natural method for pushing air out of the system. You can put your baby on his back and gently move his legs up and around.

Repeat this movement five to six type, take a break and then again starting. Keep going as long as your baby shows interest by making eye contact, smiling and kicking.

 

4. Weight Lifting

 

Picking up objects is a great way to building your baby‘s grasping ability, improve hand-eye coordination and helps to develop the muscles in her hands, arms and shoulders. As soon as starts grasping at items, usually around 4 to 5 months, use what you have around the house- small toys, rattles, objects of different shapes and sizes as per personal weights.

Sitting your baby in her high chair or bouncy seat and then place the small assortment of these items in front of her. Encouraging her to lift one, check it out and then lift again or move to a different one. You may have to demonstrate that how it is done in less time, but she will give the idea quickly especially if their weights make a sound light up or offering some other reward when we getting their job well.
